Rooted, and Just a Bit Wild

A main floor gut renovation of a 1940s Cape Cod home in Leesburg, Virginia, the Morven project focused on reestablishing flow, opening the interior to natural light, and strengthening the home’s relationship with its landscape. By pairing traditional cedar siding with a contemporary interior layout, the design balances history and modernity—while centering sustainability, daylight, and the joyful lives of its animal-loving residents.
